Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel?

Yes please!

What kind of cameras do you use?

These days I mostly shoot digital with top of the line Canon cameras and professional lenses. Sometimes I use my Mamiya medium format film cameras if I want a certain look. I always bring backups.

What is the resolution of your cameras?

It varies by camera but IÍve regularly made 40x60 inch enlargements with no noticeable pixilation.

Do I get my digital negatives?

Digital negatives are available for purchase and included as part of many wedding packages.

How long have you been doing this?

IÍve been shooting professionally for seven years at the time of writing this.

Do you use an assistant?

Yes, I have several fabulous assistants who work for me and IÍll bring at least one to your wedding. Their main job is to help me take the stress off of you for the day, but they also take photos from secondary angles during your ceremony and reception. There is no additional cost for the assistant.

How many images will we get?

It depends a lot on how big/long your wedding is. I will never reach a magic number and stop. Generally I deliver 450-700 but IÍve delivered over a thousand on several occasions.

How long will you be there?

As long as it takes. I donÍt like the idea of limiting your service. YouÍve hired me to do your wedding and IÍll stay until the job is done. I would be happy if that number is under 10 hours, but am just as happy to stay if needed.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! I carry equipment and liability insurance.
